There are many things that thrilled everyone who participated in the 1st Pugalo Trail Run; the rocky terrain, the downhills, the uphills, the cow, the goat, stray dogs, native houses and the cornfields.

It was a full of excitement and adventure; a race that captured the true spirit of local runners and running enthusiasts from out-of-town. Our congratulations go to the winning participants, and to all who joined and conquered the trail challenge.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our sponsors and contributors for your vast support. Without your monetary and efforts, the 1st Pugalo Trail Run would not be able to operate. No matter the size of your contribution - we are most grateful.

In addition, thanks to all the staff including the medical & health team, volunteers and the local police for your full cooperation and immensely for coming, helping and assisting us during the race. Your dedication and enthusiasm are critical in making the 1st Pugalo Trail Run a huge success.

Next year, we can assure you, the event will be bigger and better. We plan to create a race which not only showcases the beauty of Alcoy environs and villages but also provide both participants and volunteers with an experience like none other.
